Travel – Please allow plenty of time to plan your journey well in advance. Our travel guide on pages
ONE WEEK BEFORE
Check Your Race Pack – Make sure you know where the “safe place” you countered your race pack is and check you have everything you need – T- Shirt, Cap, race number, Bib and timing strip
Key Documents – If you have booked any travel, accommodation in advance, make sure you have printed tickets or confirmation documents to keep with your race pack.
Diet – The energy you need to get through the 21.1 Km, comes from the carbohydrate that your body counters as fuel. So in race week make sure you add extra carbohydrate to your meals.
Hydration – Hydration is vital to getting you to the finish line. Keeping fluids to hand in sports drink bottle helps remind you to top up frequently.
THE DAY BEFORE
Race Number – Please complete the reverse of your race number with the required safety information and pin it to the front of your t-shirt or vest with safety pins in all four corners.
